Experienced lawyer Tseung Man To (Cheung Siu Chow, Adam) is famous for his eloquence. He only works for rich people and spends his time pleasing business tycoons. Although he has become the regular lawyer for several tycoons, he loses his family and his wife divorces him. His daughter Tseung Sz Ting (Tong, Leila), treats him like her enemy. More than a decade has passed, Ting herself has become a lawyer. The father-daughter relationship deteriorates even further because they have to confront each other in court at times.

To suddenly loses some tycoon friends' trust as well as their business, and has to work on some cases for the Legal Aid Department.
