Hidesaburo of Class 2-B cheerfully attends school even though it infuriates him to be under his useless form teacher, Sugi Toranosuke. One day, Toichi, Eitaro and Sugizo, come to Class 2-B as transfer students. The three of them, who proclaim that they have come to “get rid of useless teachers”, see Toranosuke’s haplessness and promptly start to shake him up. Criticised by the students, Toranosuke, who knows he has to change his ways, contemplates resigning as a teacher.

However, Hidesaburo passionately speaks out. “I believe in our teacher!” Moved by this endorsement, Toranosuke resolves to do something. He seriously faces off against the three transfer students, and begins a tenacious search for his own path. But trouble brews once again and he is hindered by heartless teachers …
